Man steals breast cancer donations | News

Brandon, FL -- Hillsborough County detectives are searching for the man who walked into a sub shop and stole a charity container on Oct. 23.

According to police, around 3:43 p.m., the man walked into the Jersey Mike's Subs, at 10951 Causeway Blvd., looked at the Susan G. Komen charity container and then left. He then came back two minutes later and took the container while the employees were distracted.

Detectives say they believe he frequents the shopping plaza the sub shop is located in and was seen that day going in and out of businesses within the plaza from early morning until the time of the crime.

He is described as a black male, 5'5" to 5'8". 160 - 180 lbs., with possible braids. He was last seen wearing a black shirt, red shorts, black do-rag, black tennis shoes and carrying a backpack.
